Now Is the Time to Fill Up Your Used Cars in Western PA
Just when you thought gas prices would continue to climb throughout the summer driving season, those prices are going down by an average of an entire nickel throughout western Pennsylvania. That means this is a perfect time to fill up your used cars while prices are low!
According to the AAA Fuel Gauge Report, one of the most respected trackers of gas prices across the country, prices in the western PA region are five cents lower this week than they were last week. On Tuesday, the report showed that the average gas price was $2.55. If you’re doing the math, that means the prices from last week’s report averaged about $2.60. If you still think those prices are high, think of what the average price was in the region one year ago at this time – $4.02!
The report for this region includes the area between Altoona and Erie, Pennsylvania. The city of Bradford had the highest gas prices at $2.65 and Brookville had the lowest prices at $2.44 per gallon.
Gas prices are probably not going to get much lower in the next few weeks or months. Take your used cars to you nearest fueling station in western Pennsylvania and take advantage of these prices!
