The fact that AutoZone – the popular auto parts store – has reported a 9.5 profit for the third quarter is proof that people are taking better care of their used cars and maintaining them better.
The quarter ended on May 9 with a price of $3.13 per share for the Memphis based auto parts store. That’s quite a jump from a year ago when prices were $2.49 a share. Sales increased to $1.66 billion, proving that drivers are doing what they can to perform some maintenance and repairs in their own driveways.
