Here’s what Plant Manager John Mayberry had to say about their recent milestone, “This milestone is a testament to the dedication of our associates to provide the highest quality products to our customers… Our team at the East Liberty plant has established a strong foundation in Ohio by continually improving our plant operations in order to exceed the expectations of our customers.”

The 4 millionth vehicle produced in the Ohio Auto Plant was a 2011 Honda CR-V. Honda has been manufacturing vehicles in the US since the early 1980′s and this Ohio Auto Plant is one of many Honda manufacturing plants across the country. East Liberty Auto Plant has been providing jobs to residents of Ohio for over 20 years. The current employment at the East Liberty plant is 2,400 employees. These great employees, along with continual innovation has turned the East Liberty Plant into one of the most flexible and efficient plants in North America. Great employees and innovation are the two biggest factors in helping to achieve this great milestone.

Among all of its operations in Ohio, Honda directly employs 13,500 Ohioans and tens of thousands more through its suppliers and other business partners. We need to see more of this here in America. In order to get out of our recent slump manufacturing jobs must be created. What better industry to make that happen than the auto industry. Automobile manufacturing once helped make America a great nation. Hopefully history repeats itself.

• From October 8th through the 10th Sheilah Cleary, an Internationally known Bead Instructor will be leading classes at The Bead Hive. Classes range in price from $50 to $90 depending on the class. On the 8th Sheilah will be leading two classes, the first runs from 10 AM – 4 PM and focuses on the Soft Flex Twist Bracelet. The second class on October 8th runs from 5 – 9 PM and is all about the Yin Yang Loomed Bracelet. Sheilah’s Saturday class runs from 10 AM – 5 PM and is all about Aspen Glow. Sheilah’s 4th and final class runs on Sunday from 10 AM – 5 PM and is entitled, “Shimmering Summer Sun”. All of Sheilah’s classes are highly recommended. You should definitely try to make it over to The Bead Hive for at least one class!

On top of the amazing classes list above, The Bead Hive also has a Trunk Show coming up between October 29th & 30th. During the Trunk Show The Bead Hive will be displaying $20,000 worth of beads. Those beads will be for sale for two weeks OR while supplies last. The Bead Hive also has a monthly “Bead Addicts Night Out” party on the second Tuesday of each month from 6:00 – 8:30 pm, free of charge.
